How Cloud Computing Works End-to-End
Now, let us explain how the cloud computing system works from start to finish. We will look at the process of cloud computing. Cloud computing is a way that people use the internet to get access to things, like storage and services. The cloud computing process is pretty interesting. We will break down the thing to understand how cloud computing really works.
When you open a website or an app on your phone or laptop, something happens. Your request goes through the internet. It does not go to one computer server. Instead, it goes to a platform. The cloud platform is like a group of computers that work together. So your request goes to this cloud platform.
The cloud platform will send your request to the cloud platform’s servers in the cloud platform’s data centre. These servers of the cloud platform run on machines of the cloud platform; they do not run on fixed hardware. This is because the cloud platform uses something called virtualization, and virtualization of the cloud platform allows many users of the cloud platform to share the physical resources of the cloud platform in a safe way.
If the traffic to a website increases, the cloud platform will create virtual servers on its own. This is what we call scaling. The cloud platform does this automatically. When the traffic to the website reduces, the cloud platform gets rid of the servers that are not being used.
This flexibility and scalability are the biggest advantages of cloud computing.

But with cloud computing, you can just pay to use what you need when you need it, so you are basically renting the resources of cloud computing. Traditional systems need a lot of money to get started. Cloud computing is different; it lets you pay for what you use, so you do not pay for things you do not need. This really helps cut down on waste when you use cloud computing.

When you use a computer, you have to deal with updates, security, and things that go wrong. With cloud computing, the cloud people take care of most of these things for you.

Let us say I have a shop on the internet.
When you use the old way of computing, you have to buy a server that can deal with 100 visitors at the same time. Then something big happens: your product becomes really popular, and 1,000 people visit your website all at once. The server gets overwhelmed and stops working, which means you miss out on a lot of sales from the website.
But a cloud computing system is really good at figuring out when a lot of people are visiting your site. It sees that there is traffic, and it adds more resources on its own. This means your site does not go down, and your customers can keep on shopping on your site. The cloud computing system makes sure that your site stays online all the time.

The cloud is not something that happens. It is really a better way to use the computing resources that we have. The cloud is a thing because it enables us to utilize computing resources more efficiently.
Once you understand this, everything else in cloud technology becomes easier.
